Social Problems
Many people in our diverse society face many different problems and many of these problems are not shown to us upfront but mostly hidden from the naked eye. In Malaysia, many students and young adults tend to keep their problems to themselves in order to not trouble others with their personal problems. This habit has been practiced by many people and it is terribly unhealthy to do so.
Students are always stress about what they would want to do in their future and constantly burning the midnight light to finish their homework that is given by teacher in effort to help them improve. In many cases in Malaysia, this lifestyle of sleeping late and waking up early has lead many students to depression as they have no time to maintain a healthy social life with anyone in some cases even their dear parents.
Depression is not something to joke around about because it has influenced many students to take their own life in order to 'get some decent rest'. In early 2017 there has been a rise in suicide cases, because there is a suicide game named Blue Whale suicide game that is one the rise in social media. This game influences innocent teenagers to take their own life just to 'win' a game. Many people think teenagers are too smart to play such a dumb game but many people don't see the reason behind why they play it.
Teenagers and young adults are taught to keep silent and not be so expressive of their emotions. Anxiety starts to build up and they start to panic and start to have a anxiety attack. People don't understand that expressing ones self is vital to have a healthy life and not to resort to ending ones life to obtain peace and happiness.
In conclusion, students, young adults and adults must express themselves and learn that there is someone out there that will sit down and take time to listen to your problems to help you resolve them. Never stay silent and ignore what bad people have to say about your feelings because your feelings are important and no one should put anyone down like that.
