The Road Not Taken

     The road not taken if you guys don't know is a poem written by Robert Frost. Many opinions have surfaced along the many years after it was released. Different perspectives from many different people has caused this poem to be one of the most versatile poems out there. Here are my opinions of this incredible poem.

     The poem starts with "Two roads diverge n a yellow wood,
                                         And sorry I could not travel both
                                         And be one traveler, long I stood
                                        And looked down one as far as I could
                                        To where t bent in the undergrowth; " In my opinion the speaker is caught between to lines and is having a annoyingly long time trying to decide which course he or she want to choose. He or she's hand are tied , knees weak and weak arms are heavy . This stresses them out due to the immense amount of pressure that is placed on their shoulders by their parents.
The poem than continues with " Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same" In my opinion the speaker decided to try the second course but noticed that it is identical along side with the first course that he took. But thought the long run the speaker found out that the first course that he took was actually the better course to take because of the benefits , so he risks it all and went down the first pathway. But finally he or she realised that both courses that they took was equally difficult and challenging.

The poem generally is trying to tell us is that whatever course we take , no matter how challenging , no matter how difficult, we must persevere until the end so we can break though and become successful in the future.Pathways can be misleading and therefore we must be wary of the choices that we make, because the choices we make will either leads us down a path of destruction or a path of succession. Choose wisely everyone.
